BECOME A WATER STATION SPONSOR
We are seeking local businesses who would like to become an official “water station” sponsor and receive the public relations and advertising benefits in this proposal. We will also be offering your business the opportunity to win back sponsorship dollars by coming up with a creative idea.
Each volunteer, usually employees, will receive a volunteer t-shirt, an invite to the Volunteer Party, and given very specific directions on how to do a water station, the course map, directions to get to their location and any other details. Also, we will supply the water station with all equipment to include water, Gatorade, cups, garbage boxes, and tables.
If possible, we ask that you have your employees decorate or create a theme for their water station. Be sure to hang a banner with your business or organizations name on it so that spectators, the media and participants can see it. In the past ideas have ranged from: a western theme, to the Green Bay Packers, etc. We then judge the water stations and offer back to your employees a chance to win 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place.
VOLUNTEER
Get a front row seat as a volunteer! Volunteers are needed throughout the event to help with participant body marking, directing athletes on and off the course, and handing out water and food. All volunteers receive a t-shirt, food during the race and a big thank you!!! To volunteer or for more information, please contact our volunteer coordinator today at
volunteer@midwestsportsevents.com or call 1-800-429-8044.
